What is Kava?
Piper methysticum, if you’re scientifically inclined. For the rest of us, it’s a distant member of the pepper family. Roots of the kava plant contain some fun chemicals called kavalactones, which have mild sedative properties when ingested.
They’ll numb you up, relax the mind, and take the edge off if ingested in sufficient quantity.
What is difference between regular Kava and Instant Kava?
Our Instant Kava is more concentrated and does not require straining. There is no Kava root pulp to dispose of. Simply mix our Instant Kava directly into your beverage of choice and you are done.
How much Instant Kava should I take?
Strength preferences vary person to person. We recommend trying 1/2 teaspoon of Instant Kava in about 6 ounces of water or other beverage. This is a good starting point to gauge your personal preference.
How will Instant Kava affect me?
Everyone's experience will vary but here are some of the commonly experienced effects.
• Relaxes muscles
• Calms nerves
• Creates a general feeling of well-being
• Induces a feeling of peace, relaxation and contentment
• Enhances mental alertness and concentration
• Has historical use as an herbal aphrodisiac
• Reduces inhibitions and makes people more sociable
When is a good time to take Instant Kava?
The fact that kava does not slow one’s mental capacity, allows it to be used during the day especially when we find ourselves anxious or in stressful situations like:
• Going on a date
• Visiting the dentist
• Giving a presentation
• Attending a party
• Business meetings
• Enhance athletic abilities
• Boarding a plane
• Taking an exam
And for the most part, kava is best consumed after work when the kava’s delightful, pleasurable, relaxing effects can be experienced while one is able to relax into a happy, peaceful state with complete mental alertness.
When kava is taken before bedtime, it induces a restful sleep with a refreshed feeling upon awakening.
Is Instant Kava safe to take with Alcohol or Prescription Medications?
